So the "A" and the "K" denote the tip? I can't keep bar notation straight. It's different every mfc. I just would like to run a pro bar in 16" .050 3/8lp on my Dolmar 420.

No, it is about the rear end profile as DSS said (but the slots and the holes are the same, so they often interchange).

The tail profile of the "A" bars generally tapers off more at the extreme rear end, to fit better with smaller sprockets and/or with sitting closer to the crank.

Any differences in nose size and general profile are up to the manufacturer.

Tilton has a list of bars.
3 for me specifically.
ao41 16" 3/8lp .050
k041 16" .325 .050
k095 24" 3/8 .050
all light and tough

and a list to look into stocking on their own.
k095 .325 .050
16 and 18"
D025 36" 3/8 .063
D025 .404 bars...20, 24, 28
all light and tough.

we will see what they say and what kind of prices they come back with on the 3 bars i am interested in....as long as they are reasonable I will be telling them to order them.

So I guess the T201FK4 18" Stihl mount Light & Tough is out?

From your site which would you recommend the Oregon Pro Lite 180SCHD025 or the Total Super Bar T201FV4?

im not getting greedy at this point....if tilton comes up with some of the bars i requested, i will push for more but overloading them with requests will likely lead to them getting none in.

for the difference in price its not much of a debate for me. total super.

Thanks for your input. although the price difference is ($10) is closer to $15 for me it really isn't much. Now to figure out what else I should get and if shipping is going to cost as much as the order...

Too late and probably too 'outlier', but, 3005 18" 3/8LP would be fantastic on my stihl 241. I did try a Tsumura laminated bar to achieve this but it wasn't any different to any other laminated bar - rather crappy and short-life. So, something solid, for 18 or 20" picco would be the bees knees.

Don't know if it has been requested yet but a 16" .375 in stihl 3003 and husky small mount would make me happy. Prefer both in .050 gauge.

Won't swear to it and I'm awful tired but I think there is a 16" 3/8 50 3003.

Sadly guys... I haven't done a very good job at keeping up with adding bars to my site.... I have quite a few in stock that aren't listed.... There are also quite a few bars that aren't listed in the catalog.

Then the question would be do you have either the 200FK4 (16" Stihl mount Light and Tough) or 201FK4 (18" Stihl mount Light and Tough) in stock? or When do you think you'll have the others bars listed on the website?

Thanks!!

T200FV4 3003 16" 3/8 .050 small mount in that configuration is not available though.

this quest is solely for 16-18 3/8 .50 and 24 3/8 .50 SMALL MOUNT HUSQ IN L&T. Focus Nate, Focus!:beer-toast1:
i was just on the phone with tilton this morning. no word yet on bars. my request was passed along to the higher ups, my direct requests for the k095 24" and 16" A041/K041 bars were sent to tsumara but no word yet.

Light and Tough is currently only available in 20,24,28 large husky and stihl.

200FV4 and 201FV4 are available though.

I saw the L&T ones listed in a catalogue and got excited. As with many things there is a difference between what the manufacturer makes and what the distributors are willing to offer. Living in Canada we see this a ton...

20160222_161909.jpg The only way this can get any better looking is if it had a 24" l&t total bar. Just saying.

So as the title says. What bars would you like to see available from Total in the future?

Current offering in the Light and Tough are as follows
Stihl mount 20, 24, 28" 3/8 .050
Large Husky 20, 24, 28" 3/8 .050

I have 20" 3/8 .050 small husky ordered and they will be here in May sometime.

Total Super Bars are available in a fairly large selection but leaves some holes that i would like to see filled.

What do you all think needs added to the lineup? What should i order or request them to start stocking?
I'm not sure where the "light and tough" falls into the spectrum of saw bars, but I would like a small mount Husky (346xp/550xp, etc) in 16"-.050-3/8" that's as durable as a windsor Speed Tip but a bit lighter and truer. I'd buy that in a heart beat and am actually shopping for bars right now. Are these laminated or solid?
