So the "A" and the "K" denote the tip? I can't keep bar notation straight. It's different every mfc. I just would like to run a pro bar in 16" .050 3/8lp on my Dolmar 420.
No, it is about the rear end profile as DSS said (but the slots and the holes are the same, so they often interchange).
The tail profile of the "A" bars generally tapers off more at the extreme rear end, to fit better with smaller sprockets and/or with sitting closer to the crank.
Any differences in nose size and general profile are up to the manufacturer.
