no but seriously thinking about ordering some....maybe i should start a thread on pre ordering/group buying them...there does seem to be quite a bit of interest in the 24" small mount with saws like the 2258/2260/555/6100

I'd be in for one also(even though I run nothing but .058.) I have a 24" powermatch for my 555 and the balance with it is terrible, very tip heavy. A 555 with a 24" is a great lightweight setup for cutting all the poplars we have around here.

just weighed these this morning. T204FK4 weighs 2 pounds 9 oz. stihl 24" ES bar(30030008830) weighs in at 3 pounds 10 ounces. not sure what the smaller bars would net in weight reduction since the only RW bar available is the Stihl bar.
My original question was about the weight of top handle Stihl bars. The 3005 mounts. Does anyone have weights on these?

Just spent the last couple hours finding a Tsumura catalog and combing thru the pages....looks like the K095 24" bar is a unicorn in standard or RW. I am still going to follow up them and hopefully they are available and just not listed in the catalog

K041 16" .325 .050 Light and Tough is doable
A041 16" 3/8lp .050 Light and Tough is doable but a standard weight total super bar is a unicorn so cost on this bar is probably too high to even mess with
K095 16, 18" .325 .050 Light and Tough is doable.....have to see what Tilton thinks about these.

If a KO41 16" .325 .050 is doable and a
AO41 16" 3/8lp .050 is doable
Then a tip switch should give you a
KO41 16" 3/8lp .050

Huh?
A is lp, k is 325 and 3/8 grown up.
The difference is just the tip, same tail on both 041.

So the "A" and the "K" denote the tip? I can't keep bar notation straight. It's different every mfc. I just would like to run a pro bar in 16" .050 3/8lp on my Dolmar 420.

It's not just you. Trying to figure all these bars out is like guessing what your woman is thinking. Impossible.

I don't think it's the tip, I think it's the tail profile. I also think they're interchangeable. There's also T041 for saws with Intenz

Won't swear to it but I thought I saw a and k had different bar profile but I looked at so many bar numbers and descriptions today that I can't remember

well i dug back thru the tsumura catalog and double checked. the A and K mount bars are different profile

I'm glad you reported that! I thought I was going crazy, but I could have sworn that I ran into difficulty on my 421 once.

Tried a k and it was a red c-hair off, if'n I rec'lect right.

Tilton has a list of bars.
3 for me specifically.
ao41 16" 3/8lp .050
k041 16" .325 .050
k095 24" 3/8 .050
all light and tough

and a list to look into stocking on their own.
k095 .325 .050
16 and 18"
D025 36" 3/8 .063
D025 .404 bars...20, 24, 28
all light and tough.

we will see what they say and what kind of prices they come back with on the 3 bars i am interested in....as long as they are reasonable I will be telling them to order them.
