tmp_6165-08271717381984048232.jpg I finally got a snag worthy of posting I think. I see slanted fins on the 044! I assume the other one is an 046? Its seems slightly larger than the 44. Both have scored pistons but hope to save the cylinders. I was thinking of getting Maxflow filter setups since I am missing the covers and everything anyway, what are your opinions? I have no experience with Maxflow myself...

Red lever 10mm 044, those are a bit rare, very worthy of a rebuild. I had a nice one for awhile, was one of the best saws I ever had. Shoulda kept it but hindsight is a bee-ahhch sometimes.

yeah I'm a little worried that I wont want to sell it when it's done. The problem is I'm getting too many I really like: 372, 288, 2171, and now these 2.

Local tree guy dropped these off today.
Trying to decide if I put them aside for the next gtg, or make some cants to practice on for the next gtg...[emoji12]

What type of wood is it?
