Yeah that was basically my response when I saw it, wondering how that would happen.Looks like an 84 dl bar to me. That tip is fubared! WTH happened to it?
Are you seeing the inside of the rails being worn? I hadn't noticed that the rest of the bar looked too bad, but I have way less experience than lots of yal. I haven't tried dressing it yet. I usually use a belt sander, (is it too soon to say belt sander after JMS?) with the table set with a square 90 degrees from the belt. Guess I should try straightening and dressing it first, than decide if it's worth a new tip.The rails appear to be pretty well blown out, along with the tip.
This made me LOL!....Yeah that was basically my response when I saw it, wondering how that would happen.

I took a clapped out .058 husky bar and made it a .063 with little help.Yeah that was basically my response when I saw it, wondering how that would happen.

Got a chance to pick up an echo cs-305 which looks like a cs3000 with the rear handle put on instead of the top handle kit. Guy wants $50. It runs started on the 3rd pull. Just needs air filter. What say y’all for a little saw? Smallest saw I have is my husqvarna 51 and a mini mac that probably won’t be fixed if I get this.
