Yeah. I didn't realize how similar these are to the 55s.

I have a 254xp, 262xp, and a 268xp under the knife right now. Lol. A year ago I couldn't find a 2 series saw anywhere except 50s. Now they keep popping up.

G'day, I think I should share my latest pickup.
2 x ms200t and an ms192t parts saw for $50. Couldn't pull the fifty outa my pocket quick enough.
Then he grabs a 365sp and an 038 magnum and says $60 for both.
I got one of the 200's going, needed a coil, air filter and cover, 2 flippys, fuel filter and a bar nut.
365 is a runner but doesn't have a brake.
038 needs a coil, clutch cover, muffler, carby and a/f cover.

Cheers

Drove my wife to airport and since I got the chance and felt I had too few projects......I went to my local dealers :D:D

50$ saw, complete. I dont expect anything inside from this one...early owner had used it to cut aluminium with :D idiots, they left the shop with two brand new 560XPG!

But, I thought it should look worse, who knows, jugs off will tell the tale.

I paid twice the amount they asked for, it's not that I want to be nice, but there comes a day tomorrow.
When I left I got a deal that any 545/550/560 projects will be mine for 50$ each ;)

Picked these two up from a local small engine repair shop, stopped to buy a golf cart clutchand spotted these under the bench. They both have 36 inch bars the 5500 3/8 and the 655 .404.

I was in Alaska yesterday and did some saw hunting.
Went by the Stihl dealer and he was in a good mood, and i was from out of town..... so he unloaded one of his storage sheds onto the back of my truck, then went and seen an old Logger that had some old stuff to get rid of.
Right place at the right time for a change.Got around 6 boxes of stuff,he just kept handing me box's and i loaded them.
Got a box of baged and taged stuff,a box of handle bars,a box of cylinders and a few boxes of parts saws.
The old Logger had a few goodies, and a bar, chain and handle that hopefully will fit a big McCulloch power head i got a few years ago
Spent some time looking through boxes last night....was just like Xmas had no idea what was in them.Got everything tucked away in storage. Will give them a complete sorting this winter when it's too cold to work outside.
Leaves are turning here and everyone is in panic mode to get things done before the snow fly's.
Including me :treadmill:

Awesome snag. That's one of the best combo purchases I've seen.
