I'm in blenheim . Lock down saw me poke a few hours in on the saws . Sold a few grand of fire wood . I've actually brought myself a load from someone else now I sold to much haha. The guy I brought it off got himself an 880 stihl and said it was the best thing he ever did because he doesn't need to sharpen his chains now he just leans on it harder. Not sure I understand his logic

My mate loaned me his 084 and it was a different sort of a beast to the 660 I had , not sure I'd want to use one all day for a firewood saw.

Yeah I sure am not rushing out to buy that size saw . The 395 is heavy enough for me and really only gets used on a 42 inch bar . My 576 is my favorite saw and gets used for most of my work . Sold all my saws but those 2 but I am building an 044 with 046 head on at moment .

The amount of torque it had felt to me like it was pulling itself into the timber, it never felt like I had to lean on it. I've got a 576 in the queue , parts are a bit harder to find than a 372 though and it probably deserves a complete rebuild.

Make sure you open up the muffler they really wake up and the auto tune seems to compensate for it nicely . I just love the anti vibe , you hardly feel like your holding a saw.

Good to know. I heard they were really nice to use, I probably wont get around to it for a while unfortunately . The queue is fairly long at the moment.

So I get there and we chat. He says hey you want to take this as well. “We don’t use this, you can have it”. I really tried to be calm, cool, and politely except it while not squealing like a teenage girl. LOL. FG2 FTW!!!
