Don’t blame you there. I’m one of those goof balls that just isn’t willing to take the AT plunge despite the evidence that issues have been ironed out.

I understand on that one. I bought a new 562 that needed warranty work. But, since the fix the last 5- years have been perfect. I've almost sold that saw three times, but I just can't as I like it too much. It just runs flawlessly and the throttle response, for a non-ported saw is pretty phenomenal. If they Revised the 395 into a 5-series, kept or improved the oiler, improved throttle response, slightly better a/v and another .5hp or so, especially with a better filter setup, I don't think that it would have competition in the Sub 100cc class. Make it a modular chassis with an interchangeable slug and jug to make 6 cubes plus, and it would be king.

Now I like my 660, and likely will buy a 395, but if the shopping list above materializes above, that would be pretty compelling to me.

I agree and they don't bother me but most would prefer a side tensioner for better sales.
It doesn’t bother me either but I would prefer a side tensioner. Too bad there’s not an easy cover swap like a rancher cover on a 346/357/359 to upgrade it. But the front tensioner isn’t annoying enough to wipe the smile off my face after buying it:D Hail to the King!

I posted this over in the "Whats on your bench?" thread but it probably belongs in this thread. Grabbed this yesterday 1984 Poulan 3400 Counter Vibe. It was listed for free on Facebook Marketplace. It came with the manual and receipt from 1984. It has 125 psi of compression. The P.O. said it qas sitting 5 or 10 years and now it wouldn't start. I cleaned it a little and put some fresh gas in it and it fired off. The bar on it is in great shape and the chain sharpened up okay. I spent today tearing it down, scrubbing it in the laundry tub with some simple green and putting it back together. It runs good.

That’s $688 before tax according to the inflation calculator.

Picked up an original Case Eagle Hitch two-bottom plow yesterday. Needs some work but its complete and not bent up. These had a quick release function that would break the plow off the hitch if you hit a large rock or tree root to prevent damage to the plow or tractor. Pretty neat design.

Scored this dump cart today. I've been looking for one for a while, just waiting for the right one at the right price. This one is rust and dent free, it just has some John Deere overspray on it. I already put it to work, it'll be hauling firewood soon enough.

Nice! We had one of those exactly like it for almost 25 years! Beat the crap out of it hauling firewood for years. Sold it to another guy a few years ago for him to haul firewood with it.

BTW the tailgate is installed backwards. Need to unbolt the channels and turn them around.

Nice score Joe!
A much needed score! No more lugging around a wheelbarrow! Now we gotta get your tractor going right!

Cool, I hope this one lasts me that long! I didn't even notice the tailgate was backwards, I was just glad it still had the tailgate at all!

I think the tailgate is just slid in backwards. Joe when you mentioned blades earlier I think you nailed it. I'm guessing the left spindle is the issue! I'll check when I get home from work.
