I think the tailgate is just slid in backwards. Joe when you mentioned blades earlier I think you nailed it. I'm guessing the left spindle is the issue! I'll check when I get home from work.

Yep, when you said it only happens with the blades on, I figured it was a PTO related issue. Make sure the blades can spin free and see if the problem goes away.

How is your Boy doin Man? Still workin under that older fella?
Untortunately that gig fell apart in Jan. He was pretty bummed. The old guy's son ran the shop, ran it not very well. He's doing construction now and plans to take the millwright apprenticeship test through the local next month. He's been accumulating tools like crazy.

Looks good Adam! 2008 model by the looks

Yep. Been in the bush at some stage, Vivid on the gun sights , but the old boy in Rangiora I got it off had it for a few years on a lack of lifestyle block so it should be a good addition.

I'll try and find something to cut before the base gasket 'falls' out....:).

I was going to pull the trigger on a harbor freight 4x8 trailer but this 4x8 trailer came up for $325, ready to go. right after I told the buy I was going to buy the trailer, 5 other people said they wanted it. I’m happy I went this route.

Well, I think I might have got a snag here....
This guy listed (on our local auction site) a 266se which looked great cosmetically but was missing the ignition system and he said it only had 135psi of compression. I took the punt and got it for about $120 (USD) as i already had a source for a good OEM ignition system (another $45 (USD)). The saw came this morning and it looks like it has had very minimal use from new, it looks like the original spur sprocket is hardly worn and with a few more pulls on the starter I got 190psi of compression!!!

Snagged some cool old stuff the other day. A boss at work gave me a Foley 308 chain grinder a few months ago. Sunday he calls and says he has the other stuff and he is dropping it off at my house. Not sure what the heck I'm going to do with it.
