Is there a bad deal on one of those?
He sounds like my kind of guy. Usually I just offer to remove stuff cluttering the shelves of dealers and shops...Knowing Frank he probably installed someone's washer and dryer in trade for it (or re-wired their bathroom fan).
That would have been nice. Lol. I paid a fair price for it.Knowing Frank he probably installed someone's washer and dryer in trade for it (or re-wired their bathroom fan).
WooHoo! You’re gonna like that saw. First one I’ve seen with a full wrap! Pretty cool, and look at that bar! Absolutely the longest one I’ve seen in one. Lemme know if you need parts, I got a bunch.Had A good day today.....
Finally got a solo twin!! View attachment 237875
What a cute lil feller!!! LolI’ve been wanting a riding mower so I bought the tiniest one I could find [emoji23]. Still beats a 21” for larger yards. Was wanting a 36” walk behind really cheap but this will do. It should be easy to get running.![]()

I'm not saying why but I think that's the keeper.Went by my local Husky dealer and picked this up. I’d expressed an interest in one last week when I saw his. He said he thinks he put a ring in this one about 10 years ago, owner came to get it and bought a new saw. Been gathering dust ever since. Tool holder I heard...? You need a tool to get into it so who knows?Anybody know what that do-dad is that’s built into the handle, with the screw in it?

It is. But the smart loggers threw a joint in there for the end of the work day because Huskies don't breakTool holder I heard...? You need a tool to get into it so who knows?

Is it just my brain fart kicking in again, or are the tines mounted on the "wrong" sides?Picked up a nice lil Honda tiller today for a good price.
Still had paint on the tines.

I have no reason to believe they’ve ever been dickered with and it does the job quite well but I’ll look into that.Is it just my brain fart kicking in again, or are the tines mounted on the "wrong" sides?
But one thing I have learned about tillers though, is you have to do, what it takes, to work the soil & conditions that you're in.
Fiddling with depth sticks and (sometimes) tine orders (which one follows the other) can make the machine.
Most inspirational.Got these today for FREE! Stopped by the sawmill to check up on my friend and the saw I built for him. He loves the saw I built and he asked me to follow him to this building, he has some saws for me. Inside it looks like the place old machinery goes to die. It’s dangerous just to try and walk around in there. He goes straight for what looks like a pile of dust and pulls these two from the heap. Ones a 272xp and the other is an MS290. He thinks they were both running when the starters failed. They were brought in and left here to die. As were leaving he tells me I can have the saws cause I didn’t charge him labor on his saw. (Parts were $450 alone, 262xp) And I says
“Thank you”. The shiny 262 in the pic is mineView attachment 240590
