Thinking of selling my 064

Well the question always comes up do u operate a saw daily? I probably cut more cookies behind my shop testing saws I repair than most people who claim to use one allday in reality.

I find this *f-wording comical, Keith. Im not going to belittle you, but I will say that is a stupid *f-wording statement.

Most of the mental midgets on these sites don't carry a saw all day. All this talk and most can't even run a god damned file. *f-word!

I found the 064 a great logging or 32+ inch bar saw and the 460 a better 28 inch or less firewood saw as it seemed faster with the shorter bar.

Imo why not skip 460 have 044. For buckung and firewood and 064 for felling. Logging like you stated

460 feels like it has more torque than the 44 for not much more weight

Ive felt the same . I like a 460 better than a hybrid also

Then were back to the 064 weighing same as 460.i personally see no need for a saw thats same weight same bore but 064 has more torque by having 2 mm longer stroke

A bone dry 064 weighs in at right around 16 pounds, or so my buddy's scale says...it does however have the west coast clutch cover...

15.6 stihl specs thats same as 460 within ounces 85cc verses 77 cc just give me 064 and 044

Well they were posted on 064 on this thread a page or 2 back at 15.3 and factory is 15.6 those within 3 ozs pretty darn close so for a lb or less diff between 064 and 460 i will go 1 lb more for 8 more cc anyday
