He’s too young to even know what a manual trans is, lol
The first automatic I drove was the first day of drivers education. I got in to drive and coach Vroman got in the passenger seat. I said "how the hell do I drive this thing". He shook his head and laughed.

If I remember correctly I believe you had a Ford but got rid of it and kept driving the Chevy for some reason
That was a very clapped out 96 or 97 7.3 powerstroke that needed more work than I was told and I traded it and pretty much broke even and also gained some fun and knowledge along the way.
I was nodding my head with the specifications until you listed automatic, manual transmission is where it is at!!
That's what everyone tells me... I've never gotten fully comfortable with manuals, only ever drove our 1995 Toyota pickup in the yard, although the DX series deutz tractors have somewhat similar setups and I've gotten comfortable with those.

My Chevy has definitely been reliable for what it is. And actually I did get to drive the Ford twice if that counts 🤣

ZF6's are kinda "meh" in my book. Massive, close shift pattern, and fairly rough in my opinion. The auto that came with a 7.3, built right, will last a minimum of 100k moving a 10,000lb truck and a trailer/tractor that are another 10k up and down mountain roads. If you don't change the oil/filter for far too long, the in-line add on filter implodes, and your ATF no longer circulates through coolers, etc that built transmission will blow at 100k. If you keep up on maintenance, it should go longer. Stock, I dunno. I think the stock one blew at 80k, but that was hauling those same weights for a few years. On flat ground or without hauling 13k over the truck's weight I'd say it should do just fine for a long while.

Logan have you figured out how to ship the stuff you post?
I've shipped dozens of saws including bigger ones like the homelite c series. I know a few of the things I post in this thread like trucks and snowblowers can not be shipped reasonably, but there are several other Wisconsinites on here and I've actually made several local sales and deals thru this forum. I also just recently finally got an account set up with pirate ship.
