It's a black Poulan, only green is the Poulan logo. The MTD design and photo angle are the only contributing factors the appearance and location of the front wheels, they're fine. It works other than the engine control cable is finicky so I had to pull the spark plug boot to turn it off.

Like @Outback noted, I was making reference to a Lawnboy mower....that the Poulan mower is all wrong for the typical Lawnboy you have gotten in the past.

Is that the SH 56 blower/vac? Does the orange part flip up and is there an impeller in there to mulch leaves?

BG86 blower only I think and the orange part does flip open

Yeah, if you open the orange part and there are two metal blades (I think about 3 inches each) then that is the SH 86 which can be used as a blower and vacuum. If it doesn't have them then its just a BG 86. I wonder if it doesn't have the blades if they could be added and that converted to the blower/vacuum?
