If you would like to unload some of those worthless notes, just send them up here, but sorry, I don't have a 390 XP cylinder.

Hope you, the family, the business and the farm are all doing well!
Life is good my friend. Hopefully all is well with you and yours.

Not the best start to spring I have ever had, but I'm surviving. Had food poisoning a few weeks ago, and doing PT for back/hip issues, but I'm surviving. Starting to get back into a normal pace.

Our dog Lucy is 17 now, doing OK but is extra work. Such is life.

Grandkids are all doing well, so the important stuff is in tact!

Actually, started up a 660 yesterday, but have not cut with the saws yet.

I bet you are glad tax season has slowed down.

Looking for the "new" style Stihl 026 filter cover; flat top with the oval knob, for use with the larger air filter and compensating carb. Part number 1121 140 1904

I believe the "casting number" is 1121 141 1010

I believe I could also use a 260 cover, but all of those I have seen have a small bump on top that doesn't quite match the 026 top cover.

I don't need anything super nice, the saw is a work saw. Just something decent and functional.

Thanks!

He could use the 260 air filter cover with a 260 engine shroud if anyone has a set.
True. The saw is a "red lever" and for some reason I was trying to keep it looking "stock." But with the "cut" base/squish band, muffler mod, and new style air filter, it probably doesn't really matter at this point. 🤣

Was the 260 ever available without a decomp, or is there a plug to fill that void? If so, that is definitely what I would prefer...

Over the years, there were two different shades of orange. ( I have a husky with three different shades on the same saw from the factory)

I finally got my 026 to match, but I did the opposite of what you’re doing so I could use the mesh filter.

"New" style mesh filter PN 1121 120 1617
I used the compensating cover off a newer carb, and swapped it onto the original 194. Might have to redo the vent once I get the correct cover though.

There was a black plug for the decomp hole in the cover. Might be tough to find.
