The consumer urgently needs to learn how to ignore those, it is what drives prices through the roof.

Teal Makita EA5000 here in Croatia out of the 2022 summer catalogue , according to Google the conversion is about 722USD.

I can buy a used EA3601F with maybe a couple dozen tankfuls through it, muffler mod and timing advance, cost $250 plus shipping. Any comments on this saw and deal? I don't really need it, lol, but I like saws and really like my (blue!) Makita EA4300 and it's stock. The EA3601 is orange, rats.

Real nice look8ng saws. Never had the pleasure to run a dolmar. But one of my favorites was a 51 Husky. So the 50cc Dolmars always looked very appealing and affordable

Get Yourself a 5k, or a 500 if Your strapped for cash. Good saws.

I really like my PS-550/EA5600, 56cc - a little chubby but reliable and torquey.
Very good fuel economy.

Not really, the only difference would be in the 5100s which I believe is the only one with the higher rpm coil.

I would be happy with an EA5000 all day

@Wilhelm , you have quite a share in the Dolmar Makita factory,
if they were still going you would be their poster boy, big bucks,
free saws, parties, and calendars with you on every page, imagine
