Hustihl; I'll see if I have pics of 260. It's pretty straight forward. Very little mods to make fit. Only thing I never finished was the choke lever.

I just pop off the cover, use a screwdriver and move choke lever that way until saw starts.

I'll take pics tomorrow if I can.

That's a pretty cool looking saw. I don't think you can even get them in North America. I've got a 038 mag and a 038 super and I love them both. I'd love to be able to try out the ms380 or ms381 someday
Not available in the US doesn't meet EPA standards for the US bulletproof saw I love it never had a issue with it 1 new plug in 3 years

Maybe we could see a video of the ms381 at work? I'm curious how it compares to the ms441.
I don't have a ms441. I'm wondering what the difference would be since both saws are about 70cc.

I had a ms441cm 20" as well bought them both at the same time to be honest I preferred the 381 yes the AV isn't spring mounted and no mtronic but there is just something about the 381 that I like Iam not 100% sold on mtronic even though I have a mastermind 661cm the cuts like the power of piss(I still really love my 660 I won't ever part with that ):headbang:

Would love to see that 381 cut!
Going on holidays next weekend a little hard to get out with the fire danger hitting extreme not saws allowed at the moment due to sparks from exhaust hopefully when I get back a will get a video done on the MS 381

Well the free want add I placed for old chainsaws keeps paying off. A guy contacted me to see if I'd be interested in a old stihl. I ask him to send me a few photos. It looked good so we talked price and he said how about 40.00 dollars. Well I met up with him and brought it home.
This is a Top handle S-10 around 1967. I replaced the seals, rebuilt the carb and added a bucking spike. I can't believe the paint held up so good. Also he gave me a old Stihl sharpening guide with it. The bar is a windsor.
