I usually order 4 spare clips with a new piston.

Now days I take the saw to a small room with minimal clutter so if one goes into orbit, I have a better chance of finding it.

There are too many places for little clips to hide in my workshop
Iam glad Iam not the only one that looses circlips :clap2:

Hi folks. Nothing too pretty here.

I put this well used 032AV together today. Points and condenser way past due but I found a Stihl trigger in a bin of parts. She has seen some honest working days but starts, idles and throttles well. I take out the 031's and 032 once in awhile for a rip. They cut well, all things considered.

I've seen two of them in my life time and tuned one .The other was in the "dead pile" at a dealers. All things considered it really wasn't a bad cutter .

1 min run time on it and it's in bits for a little bit of mods.

Not a great deal can be done on the little clamshell. Muffler, timing and open up the exhaust port.
The scribed line of the left is original port. The 2nd during and about 050" from the edge is the target. Which equals 65% of bore dia.

So it gets opened up nearly 10 mm!!

Ms362 c what u guys think of it?

I like mine a lot, and the new ones (Gen II) are about 1/2 lb lighter, which should be a great power to wt package.

There are many reports of other 60 cc saws being stronger, but when I have gone to GTGs, my saw has done just fine.

They benefit from a muffler mod, and take about a half dozen tanks of fuel to break in. I also think M-Tronic is "learning", and will do so for a little bit after any mod you make.

You must have pigmy hands there Vince to work on those ports not a lot of margin for error
