Thanks!
Hard to decide where to start since eBay isn’t a good place to judge price and they have welded up junk on there for 13-1400Has the original.404 41” bar on it
Congrats on the haul!!Made a deal with a fellow on some bars, he had some "unneeded" parts on hand so we made a deal on those too...
Any bar fits a stihl if you have a good carbide and a bit of patience..... have both a 32" hardnose running 3/8 050 and a 32" roller nose 404 bar that are mac bars that have been erm....converted.... for stihl use...LOL.... To keep the thread on task, there are at least 4 Stihl/Stihl mount bars in the mix.

I don’t care what anyone says - those little 250’s punch above their weight class, and are a great little saw to use.
And when it breaks cheap enough to throw on shelf for parts. Same reason lots of tree guys use to use 290’s.Our state agencies use 250's. They don't treat them kindly and the saws keep going.
I'd just leave it. Clean it up, check the muffler screen. The county brought in 6 chainsaws and one HT75 pole saw to go through and make sure they run correctly. The pole saw has around 95 PSI compression, the piston looks like new and still has clearly visible machine marks...with new fuel lines, fuel filter, carburetor kit, and purge bulb it starts and seems to run just fine.

My question is regarding the gearbox, would you open it up to clean and relube or just leave it considering the compression and let them run it until something gives out?
I don't seen any simple way to access the gearbox and don't want to put more time into this project that it is actually worth.
