Got a nice condition Sachs-Dolmar 114 that I’d like to refresh. I can already see finding parts is challenging. Fortunately most of the parts are in good shape sans a few foam pieces.

Is there any fuel line mods or other part numbers that would work on this series (112/114/117/120)? I was looking at the possibly using a line from a PS-341 but can’t verify the grommet dimension. Hole on the 114 tank is about 13mm.

You need one of these then it is just regular fuel line Screenshot_20251120-133143~2.png

Yes sir the one I have on the saw has shrunken and doesn’t fit the hole snug. I thought about putting an o-ring on it.

Haven’t come across one in my online searches so far.

Also had the idea of using a 2 hole rubber grommet if I could find the size

You could wrap a piece of Teflon tape around it I have done that on fuel lines before. I have also put a dab of super glue on them before. I probably have some of those let me look and see if I have one that is better.

Anyone know where I could source a 114 air filter or suggest a DIY idea?

Few on eBay but premium prices + duty doesn’t sound good

I have quite a few older dolmar parts I will check for you. Anything else you need for this 114?
I’ll think I may have everything covered for now unless I break something. Will need a few gaskets around the carb and muffler

The saw fired with a shot of gas but sputtered out. Haven’t confirmed if ignition is good.

I would like to get a brake/cover eventually, this one is missing the brake band, not sure what else until I clean it up.

Good thing is you can get the 120si style 1 piece ignitions that work perfect can even get rid of the junk under the flywheel. There is even aftermarket ones now. Brake bands can be found aftermarket now too without the lever but looks like it is still there. Can't believe there is no clutch covers on eBay at all though
