Well if that's the case maybe a rebuild is in order. Is that for an OEM cover?

Yes OEM. i just guessed on prices but they should be within a few dollars of those prices....i was too lazy to actually look them up.

Do you dealers have a lot of these out there? I seem to remember a kerfluffle on AS a few years back on these. That they may have been a viable alternative to a 200/201T. Then Dolmar quit importing them.

I have a few out...they were mostly discontinued by the time i became a dealer so only ones i ever sold were from closed dealers that i bought out their inventory. They are not a viable alternative to a 200T performance wise but that isnt really knocking them either since they were $200 cheaper than a 200T. Most guys seem to dislike the toggle switch, front mount air filter, and the 2 piece ignition was a bit problematic IMHO. Dolly quit bringing them in around the same time as the 9010 for the same reason...EPA.

They may not be a 200T but they definitely are an alternative to those 015's. My kids been bugging me for a "Jeep" saw so this may be it. I really like a tophandle for working fence rows. They are light enough to tote a long way and handy on light down branches and stuff.

Are you still looking for one of those. Thought you
had the saw running with a replated cylinder.

Not yet, after speaking to you was all set to use an 084 piston and overbore the cylinder.

Then I saw an echo cs 1210 piston. Ordered one and only turned up 3 days ago.

Unfortunately the deck height is wrong and piston pin is to large.

After looking at the echo piston it is almost identical in design to the 166's. So decided to get a custom piston made and do it properly. Spoken to another member here about it.

Let me know when you find out.
The 084 was a lot of modifying but seems to have
worked out great so far.

I did a comparison between a 166 piston and the echo 1201 piston
and there is no way a 1201 will work. The 1201 has a 15mm pin
and the pin center to crown is way to tall.

Do you not have a 166 piston to use in your saw?

This is a semi educated guess ...I think the standard WT "full " carb repair kit (K20-WAT ) should fit .

Hope so,cause I just bought the last two DDave had.

image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Well here's the IPL for the carb not the most straight forward of repair kits for all the different working parts I do know they sometimes suffer from spindle wear on the throttle butterfly, a new carb comes in around £65.00 image.jpeg
