Would have nabbed it in a heartbeat, at that price..
It wasn't the cleanest 166 but just the same probably worth the
selling price. Do you have a link for the one on ebay.de.

My small victory.

I wonder...was the saw a bit dry up top when you tested it and now its had 2 stroke mix through it the compression icould be a little higher ? No matter though as it must have enough to run well ...just a though as i had a 5105 on test ...came in at 145 after a lay up and then once it had some fuel through it i got 175 psi.Yes. It surprised me. The chain was still sharp and that is an old hard locust stump. Nice little rooster tail of chips. Especially considering it only has 125# of compression. It's very light, makes the Stihl 015's feel like bricks. The Stihl top handle bar won't work though. It needs a better bar.
Could be I don't know how long it laid up. Wish I could find someone who knows these saws well. I'd like to rebuild the second one since it has a good coil and isn't beat up. Need to figure out the carb kit and a few other things.I wonder...was the saw a bit dry up top when you tested it and now its had 2 stroke mix through it the compression icould be a little higher ? Thats the top handles party trick..light and nimble ...tree climbers default saw here.
Few lads here are bound to have had a few or worked on them ...carb kit should be ok if you can tell what it is ..Zama ?Could be I don't know how long it laid up. It's in there pretty good. Probably have to pull it to get a number. Rather not have a pieced out saw setting around waiting for parts. My organizational skills could use some work.Few lads here are bound to have had a few or worked on them ...carb kit should be ok if you can tell what it is ..Zama ?
