Help us out. Get two coming please! :D
Gladly, but I kinda doubt You'd like the price tag - Croatia has 25% VAT!

If the inquiry is serious I would have to look for availabilty and prices.
If the inquiry is just for giggles then I don't feel like wasting time on looking up local to Croatia saw prices.
Too often have I spent time looking for stuff just for the interested party to bail, it becomes tiresome.

Quick search came up with prices ranging from 4370 (some sale) to 5625 (regular price) Croatian Kuna (HRK) plus national shipping, that is about 690 to 885 USD per unit + national shipping + shipping to the US.

I got my red Makita EA5000 from Steve @166 for less than that!

I did not look up German eBay, no time.

Makita versions of Dolmar saws are still teal and black in UK and Euro.

Sometimes even DOLMARs are :clap2:

Wow, that looks really good! Being that is an early post-Sachs saw, maybe for a minute Makita was thinking about keeping the Dolmar name but painting them in their colors? I like that much better than dropping the Dolmar name but painting them orange-red.

I feel the need to clarify that the Dolmar name isn’t gone. To my knowledge it’s only in the US they have changed completely to Makita. Likely due to brand recognition. The exact reason for it, I don’t know.
The factory is still in the same place, with the Dolmar name on it. Saws, and other equipment, are still produced with the Dolmar name on it. We just don’t see them in the US.

My source at Dolmar/Makita support in Hamburg has told me, back in 1993 Makita had Dolmar to produce a few Dolmar branded saws in the teal color scheme and give them to dealers to test customer reaction.
Apparently that didn't go very well otherwise Dolmar saws were teal for more than 25 years now.
This 120si is one of these "not for sale" saws.

Right, Dolmar name isn't gone but the factory no longer is named Dolmar but Makita Engineering Germany and the official manufacturer (according to type labels) of all current Dolmar product is Makita Belgium.
Dolmar since about 3 or 4 years is merely a brand of Makita but no longer a distinct company.

Thanks for clarifying that. There seems to be so many people who think it’s completely gone, just because it’s gone in the US.

Unfortunately the Dolmar brand will die off due to lack of sellers and service.
"Dolmar" is gone from the Croatian market since 2014., any remaining brand recognition is deminishing with every year.
The official Croatian Makita distributor is doing next to nothing to promote the brand in the chainsaw segment.

Shame really, the Dolmar/Makita PRO chainsaws are built to last and don't cost You a kidney.

What’s happening really is a shame. They have good products at competitive prices, but no backing whatsoever from their owners. Now with no more research being done in the gasoline powered field, I think the brand will be just turned off. Whatever remaining will just be labeled Makita, especially as battery power becomes more and more popular.

And, Makita is doing practically nothing over here to promote the former Dolmar lines now renamed Makita. The dealer finder on the website is filled with places that aren't even in business anymore, sometimes for a decade. One of Dolmar's strengths was that they did have a fair number of dealers, although not as a marquee brand. At least you had that connection, however small it was. None of the former Dolmar dealers here have signed on with Makita. and why would they when Stihl/Echo/Husky are aggressively courting them? Makita is rightfully well known as a leader in electric tools, but no one outside of saw enthusiasts associate them with OPE, even in the battery powered segment. And, they are doing nothing substantive to change that. Selling on Amazon and through rental places only goes so far.
