I contacted Boyd (wetgunpowder) in Dresser, WI where the saw came from and he is trying to get everything I need.

Gladly, but I kinda doubt You'd like the price tag - Croatia has 25% VAT!Help us out. Get two coming please!

If the inquiry is serious I would have to look for availabilty and prices.
If the inquiry is just for giggles then I don't feel like wasting time on looking up local to Croatia saw prices.
Too often have I spent time looking for stuff just for the interested party to bail, it becomes tiresome.
Aren't Makita saws in the UK still Smurf? If so, that would be a possibility.
Makita versions of Dolmar saws are still teal and black in UK and Euro.I believe they turned red, but I could be wrong.

Sometimes even DOLMARs are
Wow, that looks really good! Being that is an early post-Sachs saw, maybe for a minute Makita was thinking about keeping the Dolmar name but painting them in their colors? I like that much better than dropping the Dolmar name but painting them orange-red.
I feel the need to clarify that the Dolmar name isn’t gone. To my knowledge it’s only in the US they have changed completely to Makita. Likely due to brand recognition. The exact reason for it, I don’t know.
The factory is still in the same place, with the Dolmar name on it. Saws, and other equipment, are still produced with the Dolmar name on it. We just don’t see them in the US.
Thanks for clarifying that. There seems to be so many people who think it’s completely gone, just because it’s gone in the US.Right, Dolmar name isn't gone but the factory no longer is named Dolmar but Makita Engineering Germany and the official manufacturer (according to type labels) of all current Dolmar product is Makita Belgium.
Dolmar since about 3 or 4 years is merely a brand of Makita but no longer a distinct company.
Unfortunately the Dolmar brand will die off due to lack of sellers and service.
"Dolmar" is gone from the Croatian market since 2014., any remaining brand recognition is deminishing with every year.
The official Croatian Makita distributor is doing next to nothing to promote the brand in the chainsaw segment.
Shame really, the Dolmar/Makita PRO chainsaws are built to last and don't cost You a kidney.
