There's little if any magic involved. I clean my saws mostly with oven cleaner spray and for
the worst oil soaked parts brake cleaner.
Sometimes I resort to a high pressure blast but most actual cleaning work
is done with bamboo sticks to pry the dirt out.
To refresh dull powder coatings and fainted colors I use a rag wetted with aceton.
Its amazing how vivid most surfaces look atferwards.
Thanks.

two weeks ago here on the east coast of the USA we had a "small" storm called Isaias which made a big mess, and took quite a while for me to clean up even with the help of my orange friends...

@wrooster: Could you please consider to scale your images down to, say, 1500 - 2000 px width?
This page with your ~5000 px images takes endless time to load. Or please use an image-hoster with
more internet-bandwith than your current one?
That would be very kind for those of us with limited bandwith or transfer-volume. Thanks!

I am in need of a few parts for my Dolmar 7900, brake handle, air filter(s), clutch & drum, etc.

Do we have a resident Dolmar/Makita dealer I can deal with?

Thanks,

Mark

I second @166
I wish I could say contact Nate @fordf150 , but there is that tragedy of his shop burning to the ground. :(

Get Yourself the fine white nylon mesh AF if Steve has those in stock, much finer than the coarse black nylon mesh filter and less restrictive than the felt filter.
Just a recommendation. :)
