posted in another topic already but thought I would mention it here. Picked up a new ps-421 at my local dealer for $289 and they threw in a storage case they had on the shelf. Wouldn't hurt others to check their local dealers as mine has all Dolmar's on "clearance" currently. They still had a couple 5105's and a ps32. Not bottom of the barrel prices but cheaper than I could get the saw anywhere else, not including the case. Unfortunately my local dealer is no longer going to carry Dolmar or Makita with the changes in supply (moving to factory direct vs. local distributor apparently?)

Mine is replacing my well worn Poulan Pro 220 42cc model. Measures 10 oz lighter on my scale, ready to cut than the pp220

Today's snag. Any help on rings and carb kits for these wee beasties?
One on the left blows 125# with no apparent scoring and the right blows 100# with light scoring on the exhaust.

Andrew (AJS chainsaws ) will know ...but had a dig for rings and The "Greek " has a Caber ring to fit unless Andrew can sort you out .

They both need on/off switches.

Part no...170 146 020 i think .

Only need one switch. Was changing out the recoils from the scored to the running and saw right off what was wrong. Changed out the switches also and now that's not an issue.

Looking more likely you will get 1 runner out of the two without more cash ... That a 2 part ignition system ?

There's a different set up on the new one this coil wouldn't even last through PDI
