She is safe in a good home now, put a 24" with full skip just to test it out and she gets. No date of manufacture on it though.

Nice saw. Looks its missing the "SPEED 14.500" sticker on the hood.
That one's still available at Makita/Dolmar. Item no. 980115419

There wasn't a "SPEED" decal on these until probably 2008. The original decals used for the PS-4600S was black on a warm red hood. That wouldn't work on the PS-5100S with the black hood. Later builds had a white "SPEED" decal installed on the hood.

I ordered the black decals and installed them onto the starter housing until they came on there factory.

You may like it you may not but it’s done and it’s mine. The 7900 is a tough saw so I figured it needed a tough look, pop rivets and sheet metal. May do the 9010 the same way. Waiting on a special order film to do the 7301.
