Rebuilding my XXV micro and forgot how easy it is to dump the needle bearings. I remember now. I managed to find 12 and reinstall. Us that the right number?

I forgot to count mine when I dumped them. LOL

The IPL says 12 so you should be good to go.

Did you take the pulley off, clean the post and inside of the pulley, grease it, and reassemble?

I despise the 475 415 air filter and tank set ups. So my mission to put updated tank and filter set up.

The 415 475 mesh air filter and the rubber tube and metal ring on tube I'll sell for $15 and shipping. Air filter NLA new unless you find NOS. On LEFT lower corner last pic.

Hey Kevin, couldn't that section that holds the air filter on the old style tank assy just be cut out out and the new style filter then be put in, or is there more to it?

Yep and I do it to air filter covers when needed too.
But most times the older tank has a issue already so I just swap them.

Plus if the tanks are good I sell the older ones off to guys restoring 475's.

Any poulan Tim Allen BadBoy collectors needing a 22" bar for their TA BB saw?
I dont want to run this screen printed one figuring someone may want it for looks on their saw. Its used in good shape and the printing on it is what is left. Both sides shown. Open to trades or sell outright.

Ran my least pretty, non-psp, previous owner abandoned, 026 killer - all day long today. Felt good. Really good.

Are you running .325? And I need to get my little ugly duckling 2800 going. 20180521_190106.jpg
Anyone got any tips on "fixing" this?

Running the OEM setup. 0.325" on a 7-pin rim. Douglas fir is pretty forgiving, so I can get away with an 18" bar.

I've split a couple of my 3000's, but I don't recall the type of stud they have. I am going to say they are threaded all the way through into the bar pad. Looks like that is not an original stud? Could pick up a new stud and tap an E-Z Lok insert or such. Figuring those threads in the bar pad are FUBAR.

Yeah the way they looked I was thinking of switching them over to a metric stud.

Little something I ran across a couple weeks ago. She runs very well. I like the way she pops when she's just idling.
