I need to experiment with 60cc ones ...I dig the 54cc ones

There was a green one about that size at a sale the other day. Don't really know what it went for...I'll pay more attention next time.

Was focused on that old counter vibe...

If you are interested in one send me a PM. I have a 375 that I have been hanging on to for a while but it wouldn't really hurt my feelings to sell it either.

Rebuilding my XXV micro and forgot how easy it is to dump the needle bearings. I remember now. I managed to find 12 and reinstall. Us that the right number?

But i'll bet a bit more dependable than a wild thang.
More metal = more better. Then again, that may be a generational perspective. So many young guys I've found think a certain brand of machine is good, when they have never had the fortune to have been around the good stuff. An Old German or American lathe that will turn down to a tenth of a thousandth vs a newer Asian made machine that will only go to 2 or 3 thousanths accurately, comes to mind. Sorry for the rant. Actually I REALLY am, very sorry.

I would just hate to have to throw that on the back of the 4wheeler and drive it to the creek to cut a tree out. Would need a trailer and don't think I would want to drop it in waist deep water.

Older stuff was made to last. I've got an old brake lathe my dealership had, must have been made in the 70's. To me it does a better job than the newer hunter we have. It is slow but is true and produces a nice finish.
