The wreak link .Who in the world ever came up with bearings in the piston rather than on the pin . What on earth were they thinking ?

Decided to fire up a few saws, and update the Mac family photo!View attachment 209275

If I were to do this it would take me a week. I had all of my 166's
together in a video running with a few others that didn't belong
to me. It took 4 nights to get them gassed and running before the
video. I think there were 32 running at the same time. What a
sound. You could feel the ground shake.

If I were to do this it would take me a week..
Some times it takes me a week just to get one running .That's the part that really sucks.You restore the things ,run them a bit then banish them to the shelf.If you get a notion to use them after a time it's another carb rebuild .Makes me wonder some times why I even do it .

I think i seen a video of that phenomenon a while ago Lee. I know it didnt do it justice!
