Good Morning Mike. Just got my truck back, trans rebuilt. Wiring harness pinched between engine and trans. Must have been like that from the factory.

Dealer checked it but wanted 3k - 4k to fix it. Took it to a trans shop on a buddies recommendation. They rebuilt trans but didn't see anything major wrong. Close inspection of harness with trans out showed the pinched harness.

Still $2k . I had changed a solenoid and pressure switch in the trans but never would have solved it without removing the trans and closely inspecting the harness.

That's a lot still to pay. Nothing about car repairs are cheap.
