Good Evening Todd. A little chillier than normal, but no snow on the ground, bright sunny day. Chevy mechanic said take truck in as it sounds like the intermittent trans trouble may be a TFP switch. Haven't looked up what exactly that is . Need to make an appointment.

Good luck looked up on it and the fix has been solenoid to replacement of torque converter.

mate had his fixed , and same thing in oz, cost 2.500$ AU

Ouch I know I'll be in the market for a new chevy trans soon and looking at Gearstar. And its going in to an 85 k-10 chevy so install will be easy

Depends Ive seen 10 year olds with 100000 miles gas truck around 20-25k

Mine was a blown motor around 500

That would be in the 20k range here. You must not have the number of truck there. But I do have to say you have those disel Toyotas I'd love to have one of those too.
