Sorry for the intrusion but you make it kinda sound like he doesn't keep up up his wood lot? Or if your going over there to load up then hell sounds like a good future SIL

He is an electrical engineer and sells firewood part time. Tree services drop wood off in his backyard. It's tough for him to keep up. I cut and burned wood for probably 35 years till we moved several years ago. He lets me cut in the woodlot as I miss the cutting.

If we were only closer. I'd be right over. I got about 18" of snow after it settled and my chickens are laying eggs like there's no tomorrow. Getting almost a dozen a day.
