Thanks there was some thought gone into this chipper with the heavy flywheel , self contained hydraulics , short coupled compact perfect for the smaller tractor

My wife and I just got back from walking a 54 acre plot that we are leasing. It's in pretty poor shape, but has big potential. There's a few hundred small trees that would be just right to feed thru a chipper. lol

IMG_0036.JPG Any of you gentleman know how the hell to get this tire off. I'm not familiar with this run I'm guessing it's a two piece death rim. I'm not reusing the rim just need that there 9.00 20 off

International?
Came off an old c60 chevy. Needs to go on an international. I'm gonna put it on a regular split ring rim but this here rim is speaking French to me. I think it to be the firestone rim that is two pieces. There's no ring or even two ring to pop off the outside. I have figured out I can drive the inner rim down into itself. There's no place to stick a bar to pry it apart.

image.jpg Seriously no wonder people were crippled and killed by these things that little ledge is all that keeps these two pieces together. So I figure if it started to go up a little crooked like tubes usually do at high pressure I guess they would just fly back apart. I don't fully trust the regular split ring tires. This one is absolutely crazy. I'm taking it to the scrap yard.

Don't know if I've seen one like that. I was warned early on that you always wrap a chain around the regular split rims. And smack them with a sledge when you're airing it up to center the ring

Yes that's the stuff for the chipper I used too cut it load it on a trailer take it away and burn it usually in the summer when the pastures are dry but now I can go out all winter and tread lightly cut , chip and go image.jpg

And now I've got my new t-shirt I can scare all the wildlife away as well

First one I've seen myself. I'm pretty confident there is a little different way to take that off than I did it because I sorta damaged the rim lip thingy I'll be honest there's no way in hell I'd ever air that thing up I am very careful with the split ring ones also. I bolt them on the truck I also have the clip on air chucks I stand back even if the ring did go it's always pointing away from me The chain is a damn good idea
