So yeah but gets rusty then spins around in circles……. I quit putting the hubcap back on and I use 7 bolts on reassembly. Piss poor design

Our 7630 had to go to the doctor today so we decided to break out the sweet corn planter and let it have a shot at having some fun.

We got the acre of sweet corn in and filled the boxes up to plant the last 25 acres. It didn’t take that long and now we’re 100% done planting !!! Sure was nice not worrying about vacuum and all the fancy crap on the 12 row planter 😂

Hopefully the weather there is better than here. Do not jinx yourself by saying you are 100% done. It nice to be done but there is always the chance of replanting.

I wish I still had the Deere 495 4 Row, hell I wish I had the 490 4 row. Somewhere the old Deere 999 2 row is still around. We had a near new White 5100 4 row I sold for next to nothing to a guy in New York.

One day I bought a 12 row IH on a sale for what I thought was a good price. Later in the sale I bought a newer CIH 6 row. The 12 row never made it home. I took it to another sale and picked up more in profit on it that I gave for the 6 row. Sadly later I lost my ass on the 6 row.

By the way anyoneed a monitor for a CIH 900 6 row?

The plastic’s don’t goober up, stop rolling & floating like the steel if you get in damp or wet soil.

After it was loaded the driver said “at least it drove up here under its own power”. Yeah that doesn’t make me feel better about the crunchy sound coming from the transmission 🤮. We should know what the damage is tomorrow sometime. I need this girl to spray with late next week so I told them to get after it !! Anyone know a ballpark on a new IVT transmission 😬

We got another 1.55” last night with some pea/marble sized hail.

Guessers are barking about rain all week. Supposed to be heaviest up thru central Iowa.

I have a guy I can check with. He’ll know. I’m already down a nut, not sure I want to give up a kidney 😂

Depends on where you look but we’re suppose to get between 2-4” of rain tomorrow. Not real excited about that but we’ll take what we get.

Wait until you are moving onto a new farm and your young wife comes screaming out of the basement before you move in. You ask what is wrong and she cannot even say. Then your father helps you and you remove 11 of them out.

Or when your you son refuses to feed the hogs in the barn until you get the 5 footer out..............he was actually 66 inches......

Our when your wife screams as she heads down the steps to do laundry and a big black bastard greets her..............

How about when your wife says there is something hissing behind the freezer. You crawl up on top to see a big ole whopper stuck behind.....

You are in the basement doing laundry and a 3 footer comes out across the floor. It is about 0 degrees outside so you know the SOB has made his winter home there.......

I know most of them are harmless and folks clammer about their place in nature but myself I place them on the level of a coyote
Ditch the wife, ignore the snakes? 🤔

😜

My Runner ducks are planting eggs.
Yes, those are 3 eggs on their box floor.
This morning one on the floor and two in the nest.
Apparently Runners are notorious to just poop out their eggs wherever.

IMG_20240520_071845.jpg

The other day one egg was on the lawn and chicken started picking at it.
Who knows how many eggs I loose/do not collect due to this.
The Runners don't eat their own nor chicken eggs.
