no second crop hay . corn ears are filled out but kernals not very deep and im sure test weight gonna be light.we are having to pasture cows on hay ground and haul water not good
Not good at all. Our second cutting sucked.

Not truely farming, but the garden decided to give back a little today.

About 6 gallons vac bagged and froze, with enough left for BLT's until the next batch later this week.

For some reason this years garlic crop is disappearing a bit quicker than we would have expected. About 1/3rd is gone already. Need to save some for planting to get next years batch...

Next to no tomatoes, no paprika, very little pickles and green beans in our garden this year.
Garlic was OK, onion not so much.

I could have made hay to stack it skyscraper high this year.
Grass is the only thing not stopping to grow, it is insane and most annoying as I don't make any hay anymore.
Any grass I mow either stays on the ground to rot, or I collect it just to throw it on top of the compost pile.
I could do without grass for the remainder of my life!

And to keep the critters at bay, currently trying a pair of levels of 2' wide poultry wire with a space in between for pickin the lower stuffs.
