I'm gonna need a bigger farm tank!

I think my diesel tank is only 200 gallon

Been using this ole Massey 265. This week steering is got a bit wobbly but she starts on the button and still strong on the hydraulics

Dad insisted on cutting earlier this week. Thin but it made a few rolls.

My buddy thinks he is done haying but after putting hog crap on around 350 acres & getting 3” of rain I believe we will be mowing again. Lol. The alfalfa is already over 12” tall, some of it he may save for winter forage but I bet we knock down at least 150 acres a third time.

He was wanting to put 0-100-100 on but got quoted at about $150 acre from the Co-op; hog crap from 2 sheds was $35 acre applied & another facility was $45acre applied.

Since we broke the haybine and the rake last time without even finishing the second cutting, I'd say we are done for sure this year!

23 at a time. Vermeer R2300. Pull your safety's when you hook up to tractor and everything is hydraulic from then on. Don't leave the seat unless you try to run too tight of windrow or screw something else up.

yeah i saw that. so sad. that certainly didn't have to happen.

We've had them happen over here too offen

And at least some insurance companies are making sure on bigger farms that health and safety and machinery checks are carried out regularly

Sub 20% is fine for them..

Rye, like oats and wheat hold moisture in the stem..
Very hard to get them dry.. no matter the weather..
