Yep...

I hate sweet corn plants..

I love eating sweet corn.. but raising it is maddening... ya try every trick in the book.. think ya got it nailed.. then it lets ya down...

A good friend has a decent sized garden, but no corn. I told him he needed to grow corn. He said, "no way, been there, done that, and we can buy some of the best sweet corn in America around here for cheap!!!" Well alrighty then...lol His watermelons are amazing, grows all different kinds; although, the Black Diamonds were a bust last year. I told him they tasted like they cross pollinated with his jalapenos and he agreed. We have no clue why they did not turn out, looked real nice, but tasted like piss.

Black oak deck done and oiled with timber oil...

Complete with knot holes and all other sorts of goofy *s-word...

Hope it lasts.. cuz it has hundreds of labor hours and 5 sets of planet knives in it..,..

I’m a hack...

All I have to offer is mass quantities of lumber ..

Hell, most of the stuff I try is a dismal failure...

Hopefully the timber oil will keep it from rotting...

Got the flywheel back from the machine shop today so after hauling hay home I tore into making it one piece again. About another hour of pittly stuff and I'll see how we did!
