Heck fellers. I wasn't meaning to get a squabble going!
Sorry about that.
As was mentioned by the Staff: There's lot of knowledge here, So I poked in with a question.

I've just noticed the lack of honey bees in my area and wondered how the population was looking in places out away from the city(s).
As far as pesticides?
I've used the "Spectracide" brand granules in the past, but for several years I've not spread any around my house, out of concern for the bees and earthworms.
Ants are getting so bad now that I need to do a bit of selective dosing though.

No problem here. We also used to do bees!

We had the same tractor when I was growing up. Great horsepower, but couldn't justify 3 100+ HP tractors after dad passed, so it went up the road.
That one made good power.. those 6.6 liter international engines were decent Runner’s.

We kept (still have) the International 1066 and A/C 7000. Basically every brand but JD and Case's best offering for the mid 70's in once place. I loved discing with that 9600 though. Get in a little bit of a soft spot and kick that dual power switch on the floor, she would *s-word and get.

FYI, I farm for a living. Certified organic. And I've been reading this thread since the beginning. It's great, or it usually is, anyway. But I think you're behaving poorly and these guys giving you crap are basically just hitting back the lobs you are setting up for them. Now, Dallas certainly has a way with words, but if you're gonna stick around here, you'd better just figure out how to let that go.

What Randy said below is perfect. Maybe your whacky alpacy ideas will make you a living someday, and you'll prove us all wrong, but frankly it seems pretty goofy to me and to see you basically aggressively lecturing and dodging simple questions while dwelling on basic backyard hobby questions and asking for our input on these queries while ignoring actual good advice on other topics has officially gotten super tiresome.

Here is a cheat sheet for you though: buy an everything attachments Bush hog. You're concerned about wages for Americans, so put your money where your mouth is. Also, they make good stuff. Next, forget about making hay on five acres. Just buy it. You'll never offset your expenses at that scale. Last, don't call a vet for a chicken. If it dies, get rid of it and get more.

@SpaceBus

See this question? You never even made an attempt to answer it. Instead you went on and on about things that any 10 year old probably knows about Monsanto.

Yes...we know. The world is polluted with roundup.

What the hell does that have to do with you saying pesticides are being used, and someone asking you which ones?

You wind up here in every single thread you begin posting in. Yet somehow it's not your fault.

I'm going to remove your ability to post in this thread like I did in the other one if you can't figure out how to coexist with the other people here.

There are some pretty good oats here but a few down bursts flattened them in spots. Oats & Horseweeds go together like peas & carrots around here.

The oats are pretty far along, my buddy was champing at the bit to start mowing them last week but his wife was very persistent he wasn’t going to be doing anymore hay till after the 4th. So I once again imparted a life lesson on him.

We got us an epic wheat spill..

I aint there, so levi's down at the bridge scooping a couple hundred bushel off the road with the skid steer and getting it into a gravity box.

Pics hopefully tonight..
