Started a bit before 7 this morning. Opened all the hay fields and cut one completely.

Couple weeks from putting up small squares here. I made some pallets for the bale stacker. Hoping to back em in the shed and drop a stack already palletized. Hopefully won't see any spoilage on the bottom row.

Kuhn makes a good rake. My Dad & brother have gone thru 2 of them over the years. The pivot pins wear out over time.View attachment 296378 View attachment 296379 New hay rake! I’d prefer to have the 10 wheel, but got a really good deal on this one.
View attachment 296536 View attachment 296537 I’ve got a lot of fencing planned for in the future, and I’m about out of railroad ties. The price for treated pine or fir posts is, quite frankly, ridiculous. I’m thinking about making my own, but I’m not sure if it would be worth it or not. I have plenty of this Port-Orford and Incense cedar of the right size for fence posts. I’ve thought about peeling them and perhaps soaking the bottom 3 feet in diesel, oil, etc.
Waste of time?
