I just made 12 rounds to try out the baler and the rest were small squares. Now we just need to wait for the next good weather window for the next 100+ acres.

There needs to be a single word description for the smell of drying hay. South wind when I got home yesterday, getting ready for round two, brought up that smell from the fields. Petrichor is the smell of rain on dirt. That smell that accompanies summer showers. Maybe I'm just off a bit from the 22 hour day yesterday.

I really enjoy the smell of drying hay. Baled hay is my favorite. They should make a truck air freshener "just baled".

Now get some sleep!:D

This is the real job that pays for the farm. Don't call in very often unless I absolutely am so sick I can't do anything. Spent 10 1/2 hours in one today.
