Had to be done. Been driving metal for last few years now. Too much fractured rock in some places and broke too many shear bolts. Dug some by hand but can't spend an hour digging each hole.

Combine showed up & ran my corn Friday & Saturday. If it doesn't rain tonight he'll start on the beans tomorrow.

That's a draper head! Used for picking up crops that are windrowed! Used up in the Dakotas and Canada Wayne! They windrow the oats and wheat and other crops to get em to dry down! It's fine till they get alot af rain or snow on the windrow.

I thought drapers were just ridged or flex heads with a belt instead of a cross auger? We call that a pickup head.

That's right to! Ad an uncle that custom cut in the Dakotas years ago. Sure made you have to follow the swather the direction it went or wouldn't feed worth anything!

Was cutting soybeans and this... I got it shut off before it broke clean through.

Plus there’s two tires on the header cart not holding air very long....
