That sucks Mike!
Damn, what a pain in the ass!! Can you fix it or can you get the tire store to do it! In other words, can It be fixed now!! ( combine needs to run )
That one looks beyond saving
My favorite part is about four minutes in
View attachment 206923 Drought funcked me. I baked some soybean chaff behind the combine again. Got 30 some bales it’s obviously not ideal feed. It’ll get me through. Im gonna bale up some wet trashy grass/weed mix to get my beef through the winter. Hate going this route but I fed hay all summer. I’ll probably crack some corn to help the Ol girls out.
If you fellas with beef cows get in a pinch soybean stubble will make hay. I’ve done it before. It’s better than corn stalk. There’s always a few beans left in the chaff. I don’t care how good you can set the combine. They’re only so efficient.
They bale like *s-word. The cows kinda hate em but they will eat them if forced. I’m pretty sure I’d rather have anything but we have nothing here. I’ll keep the girls fed one way or another. This is bottom of the barrel feed but feed no less
Yeah that was the last field I cut them while they were still damp so I could bale em betterSame here, do I see combine dust in the back ground.
These are actually super heavy. I don’t know might be because they were irrigated. Better than snowballsDid that once. Those things are light.
Big wind came along and rolled them 300 yards
Well it's about time!View attachment 209723 View attachment 209724 View attachment 209725 Finally getting the beam migrated to it's home.
I was at the sale barn this summer. Top hogs were bringing $160.00. For 260-300 pound finished hogs! Ridiculous. In 1974 I sold 90 fat hogs and bought a new 200 Allis! How dang many hogs wood it take to buy a new 100hp tractor now?
Things are kinda outta wack!
