My back yard when i got it was a mess when i got it. Just been maintaning it for a few years now. It has been so wet here i haven't been able to brush hog it yet this year. It is some of the best grass we have now. So when it dries up i'm gonna cut and square it.

This is the best this field has looked since I began rehabbing it. It was in a sorry state when I took it over.

Looks good to me, Wish all my fields looked like that! That is some good hay. I still have not figured out how the hell you can cut it when I just poured 4.6 inches of rain out the rain gauge again today!! You will be done before we even start!

My technicians started mowing yesterday. Both of them have farmed their whole lives and have never cut hay in May. Orchard grass is laying over it is so heavy. Still trying to get the corn planted on the WMA. We have 40 of 200 acres planted.

We usually have our first cutting done by June first! Just been so wet! Here is the field behind the house this morning. Rained again last night.

All the alfalfa put down here is wet! And forecast rain for next 2 weeks. Usually done with first cutting by now! Most hasn't been cut yet and no plantin done!

Gets real stemmy and second cutting tries to come in it! Lose a cutting and value at same time! Lo-quality grinding hay usually.
