It needs a trip to the IH mechanic, to get the shift linkages fixed back up. I can usually shift it fairly well, but my cousins tend to try to force it into gears, and bad things happen to these transmissions when you shift them wrong.
Yep. They're one of the last true 'draft tractors'. No need to power shift, when you have enough horsepower to just ride it out. The T/A is good too, so there's always that little bit more when it gets real heavy.The 66’s are some of the toughest tractors ever built.

Did a little work on the sprayer the other day. We picked it up from a auction a few years ago and it has been needing some boom repair.
It’s been raining every Other day and we can’t get in the fields... So I replaced some of the ugliest repair work.
There’s still more to go... there’s always more to repair.
