Needs some TLC, Ign coil known to be bad, will get a good cleaning, likely needs a lower crankshaft seal,
and I'm betting the ports will need to be de-carboned. Typical items on many LB's


I found a used coil in my spare parts stash, we also have a couple of new ones on hand as well.



I got the coil swapped out yesterday, did a good bit of the cleanup, put in fresh fuel, and it started on the third pull.
Noticed it's spitting out some oily mess from the lower side of the crankshaft, so today the lower seal will get swapped out and the ports opened up if needed.

Overall, it's been a good pickup.

Somebody is trying to sell this Cutters Edge rescue saw (Jonsered 2171) as a 'military' version.
To me it looks like a can of primer exploded next to it and he then decided to cover the entire saw in it.
