I can't access the link, but $500 is good.

Went by the pawn shops recently, and one of them had a beat-to-hell 661 with a worn-bar and dull chain for $999.99

A different one had a 75cc 372xpw missing parts, with chunks missing, etc. For $699.99.

Insane and will likely just sit for months and months.

I once stopped into a pawn shop that had a STIHL (028?) that was literally crushed. Not sure that a single part was salvageable.

Just out of curiosity, I asked, ‘How much?’

The guy looks something up in his computer, and says, ‘$300’ (or something of that magnitude) with a completely straight face.

Clearly, condition was not a consideration in his pricing!

Stihl Ms661c available for sale. This saw runs and operates as should with no issues or problems and is ready for immediate use. Comes with a 3ft bar and chain. You are more then welcome to remove the cover to check pistons, compression, clutch etc to your liking and satisfaction prior to purchase. More then welcome to also test the saw to your satisfaction prior to purchase as well. The saw is around 2 years old originally used for a job I normally don’t tackle and has been sitting since. I’m not interested in lowball offer and will not respond. The saw in my humble opinion Is priced fair and reasonable for a 2 year old used saw. I will however for a serious buyer have a little wiggle room on price. Pickup will be at my shop 3677 Wilhelm Rd, Hellertown, PA 18055. I will deliver up to 30 minutes. I will ship as well. Any questions give me a holler

Piltz MS180 Hotsaw! Who in there right mind would buy and pay this much, zoom in on the chain in the picture and can clearly see it's on backwards. Maybe that's what makes it a hotsaw? I knew I had been doing something wrong.

Piltz MS180 Hotsaw
According to their description, they put a more aggressive felling dog and Stihl yellow chain on it. Def worth the $200 markup. Still just a 180 with the non-adjustable carb, doubt you get any warranty. I'll pass...ohh, look a Super XL over here...

It’s a shame to see people hoarding tools they never use. Anvils are doubly irritating because most of the old ones have the edges chipped off and the plate badly scarred but people think they’re gold.

Yup, I have two 271 with that issue, too much crap build up that pushed on the chain brake spring and caused the section to overheat melting all of the plastic, easy fix, get a new body and transfer over all the parts. $200 bucks....screw that. I might consider $50 for it including shipping and then buying this...

STIHL MS250 Body OEM Original 1123 021 0801 - $40ish
