what is the attachment on this 041?

It's a drill attachment, though it appears to be mounted on the wrong side of the bar.

Search Atom Industries, and you'll see lots of cool attachments. They made Earth augers, drills, etc.

I appreciate the sentiment. I have my really nice Poulan Pro Super 380, and a Craftsman 3.3(PP335). My second saw ever was a Poulan 2900 Farmhand...so I have an affinity for these.

McCulloch(McCullough) 125C......I can't buy it, as the ad clearly forbids me and my type.
