$200 - Stihl Ms260
Viewed by 3 people
I have a Stihl Ms260 with an 18" bar, runs like a top, very stout 50cc saw, the carb was just cleaned, air filter replaced and spark plug changed. Has a good full chisel chain on it. Would be an excellent fire wood saw or truck saw. Priced to sell.

Sure do...looked it up on Acres and it's a 50cc saw that only weighs ad over 9lbs!

Wow that’s awesome. I was just thinking about my John Deere CS52(Efco 152) last night because it’s 10.7lbs and 51.7cc and 3.4hp which beats many of the modern smaller saws in power to weight. Crazy how we move forward but it seems they ad so much junk it makes them worse in weight

I’m looking for a blown up one for free/cheap to build a 3400/4000 hybrid. I have found 3 since I started looking for one and they all have had good compression.

They are tough saws for sure.
How many cc's does that work out to.

65cc. I have a good cylinder, piston, crank, crankcase, top cover, filter cover and muffler. The rest got destroyed by the claw at the junkyard

They didn’t save it for me because it was a poulan

Kinda funky looking...o_O
Like a funky mess .
It seems those are the ones you get into and end up spending gobs of cash trying to get right, somehow they always bring a lot of cash. It's at 505 plus like 37 shipping for me right now. I'd rather not take a chance on it for that kind of money.

That stinks, sounds like a very strong runner, probably loads of torque.

Mine wears .325 the carb is limited with no high side adjustment so it's a little slow. I'd like to change that some how to get some more speed out of it, cause it feels like there is more there.
Look for a carb for a 1110 or a 1200a, and you will be in good shape. Cool little saws with good torque.

That's cool, never ran one, but I'm all about trying saws out. Today would be a perfect day for it, but my car is needing some attention, so off I go.
