I tried to find someone to buy a bunch of Foley sharpening equipment several years ago but no takers. I think Fish talked to the daughter of the owner and it turned out he had gone to school with her.

Don't know what I'd do with it, but I'm sure I'd find some uses....

Those things were all the rage back in the 70's

They're great if you enjoy prying axeheads out of blocks of wood

I was wondering what advantages all that stuff on the head would give.....

I've never seen one like this. How is it they are Supposed to work?

When you hit the block, it's supposed to force the levers apart, which splits the wood.

My experience is that a lot of the time the block doesn't let go, and you end up with the head buried. So then you're trying to pull that thing out of the block with the levers extended. Fun. Been a long time since I used one, I don't miss them.

60 DL of carlton A1LM 30 loops are 72dl 3/8 .050 and the other 30 are 84dl 3/8 .050 have to buy the lot when you add it up it will come out to 12.50 per loop.

I have one! It was my dads, he thought it was a good idea at the time, it really does not work very well. One of those deals that you think should work looking at it but it fails in reality.
