Local community "chit" auction tomorrow. One of those local auctions where people think it's a good idea to bring their worn out tires that they took off their car instead of having to pay to dispose of them at the tire shop.
Scrap lumber, scrap steel etc.

I found a few saws. This one, a Homelite Zip a mind Deere 55 that feels like it has extremely low compression but it does fire but races extremely high.
Also a really nice 028 that feels like it has good compression, but with no gas in the tank I can't fire it up.

The Deere 55 same as a 500vl echo?
If so, might have a good top end for it here.
My 500 feels like it has terrible compression, but is about 160. Just pull over really easy.

Yes. I have a couple of top ends here too.

One of which, ironically, came from Ross

I know earlier 55s were 500 echo, later were 550 echo..
Totally different jug.
I tried to make mine a 550 only to find out I would've had to source a complete electronic ignition setup since mine is points.
