I noodled some Hedge recently. The chain was a meant for Ash, White Oak, Hackberry, etc. NOT Hedge, and the timing needs to be retarded a bit.

I may, or may not, sound like a hillbilly on camera...

Lol. It's propped up like that. I couldn't get it hold steady in the wood.
Was making a generic comment about noodlin, not about your noodle pile but I get why you thought I was refering to your pic. The 2171 is a renowned noodler but I wanna put a 20" .404 b/c on one of your 462's and dump it into a nice log to see for myself what there made of.

Well, it is fat, but given its size and the rarity of NOS P&Cs, I'd rather run a touch fat. It doesn't come out well in the vid, but when it cleans up in the cut, it start's popping like pop corn...

I hear the popping you are talking about. That would drive me nuts also. Probably only needs to be backed off a few degrees tho. Very nice saw and sounds live a very aggressive chain also.

I make pickup beds full of noodles when cutting large diameter wood. I have left some huge piles a few times.
one person asked me to haul them home and I had garbage bags full of noodles. Couldn't do anything with 'em except burn 'em.
