Looks bigger in some areas, but smaller in others.

I believe the echo us a touch narrower, and maybe a bit longer

Echo caps are designed to be easily snugged and undone by hand(and usually have deeper/thicker o-rings), and in a pinch if stuck can be easily undone with the starter handle.

The old Dolmar PS-7310 is now called Makita EA7300.

Good to know, thanks for measuring Mitch. Interesting how taller handles can give the appearance of being larger, but really they are physically both about the same size.

And with a cheap bar adapter... stihl bars mount to it as well. Good decision on there part to make it D009 mount. Versatile.
